To request registration of advisors and co-advisors, the following Resolutions must be observed:

O docente será avaliado por sua capacidade de conduzir um projeto de pesquisa e gerar publicações em periódicos com arbitragem. Será considerada sua participação em congressos e estágios de pós-doutorado. A coordenação e a participação do docente em projetos de pesquisa serão valorizadas.

X.1 A decisão sobre o credenciamento ou recredenciamento de um orientador será deliberada pela CPG após encaminhamento pela CCP, circunstanciado na excelência de sua produção científica, artística ou tecnológica e na coordenação e/ou participação em projetos de pesquisa financiados, conforme critérios mínimos especificados neste regulamento.
X.2 O número máximo de orientados por orientador é 10 (dez). Adicionalmente, o orientador poderá coorientar até 05 (cinco) alunos.
X.3 Os credenciamentos poderão ser plenos ou específicos. Credenciamentos específicos são para orientar um determinado aluno.
X.4 O credenciamento pleno de orientadores terá validade de 04 (quatro) anos.
X.5 Para credenciamento ou recredenciamento, o solicitante deverá encaminhar pedido formal circunstanciado à CCP, em formulário próprio disponível na página do Serviço de Pós-Graduação do Programa. Deverá informar o endereço eletrônico do currículo Lattes atualizado ou Curriculum Vitae (no caso de candidatos estrangeiros ainda sem Currículo Lattes) atualizado e cadastro no ResearchID e ORCID.
X.6 Credenciamento Pleno de Orientadores
X.6.1 Para o credenciamento pleno, o docente deverá ter:
a) vínculo com uma instituição de pesquisa;
b) apresentar, nos últimos 4 anos, 4 publicações de artigos científicos em revistas de fator de impacto (ISI- Institute for Scientific Information) maior ou igual a 4,4 ou 6 publicações de artigos científicos em revistas de fator de impacto (ISI) maior ou igual a 3,11 ou 8 publicações de artigos científicos em revistas de fator de impacto (ISI) maior ou igual a 2,1;
c) linha de pesquisa, projetos e proposta de disciplina que se harmonizem com as metas do programa; e
d) projeto de pesquisa financiado, ou estar vinculado a um grupo que se responsabilize pelo financiamento da pesquisa.
X.7 Recredenciamento de Orientadores
X.7.1 Para o recredenciamento pleno, o docente deverá cumprir com os mesmos requisitos mínimos de credenciamento especificados no item X.6 e ainda serão levados em consideração os seguintes quesitos:
a) O orientador deverá necessariamente ter ministrado disciplinas no Programa de pós-graduação em Ginecologia e Obstetrícia no último período de credenciamento.
X.8 Credenciamento Específico de Orientadores
X.8.1 Portadores do título de doutor que não cumprirem com os requisitos mínimos de credenciamento especificados no item X.6 poderão, a critério da CCP, propor o credenciamento específico.
X.8.2 O solicitante de credenciamento específico poderá orientar no máximo 2 estudantes de mestrado. A solicitação de credenciamento específico para orientar doutorado exige que o solicitante tenha concluído pelo menos uma orientação de mestrado. Será permitido a orientação de apenas um aluno de doutorado.
X.9 Credenciamento de Coorientadores
X.9.1 O prazo para o credenciamento de coorientador no curso de mestrado será de 28 (vinte e oito) meses.
X.9.2 O prazo para o credenciamento de coorientador no curso de doutorado será de 38 (trinta e oito) meses.
X.9.3 O prazo para o credenciamento de coorientador no curso de doutorado direto será de 48 (quarenta e oito) meses.
X.9.4 Para credenciamento de coorientadores, será utilizado o mesmo critério mínimo de produção científica de credenciamento de orientadores especificado no item X.6. Além disso, justificativa circunstanciada evidenciando a complementariedade da atuação do coorientador em relação ao orientador deverá ser apresentada.
X.10 Orientadores Externos
X.10.1 Preferencialmente, colaboradores externos à Unidade deverão ter credenciamento específico.
X.10.2 Os pedidos referentes ao credenciamento de orientadores externos à USP, incluindo Jovens Pesquisadores, Pós-doutores, Professores Visitantes, Pesquisadores Estagiários e outros, deverão cumprir com os mesmos requisitos mínimos de credenciamento especificados no item X.6 e observados ainda os seguintes aspectos:
a) Justificativa circunstanciada do solicitante quanto à contribuição inovadora do projeto para o programa de pós-graduação;
b) Identificação do vínculo do interessado (ex: jovem pesquisador), mencionando a vigência do programa e linha de pesquisa;
c) Demonstrar a existência de infraestrutura (física, material e/ou de equipamento);
d) Demonstrar a existência de recursos para financiamento do projeto proposto para orientação do pós-graduando;
e) Manifestação de um professor da instituição ou supervisor, com a anuência do chefe do departamento ou equivalente, demonstrando concordância quanto à utilização do espaço para o desenvolvimento da orientação solicitada e à manutenção das condições para a execução do projeto do pós-graduando;
f) Curriculum vitae do interessado devendo constar, caso se aplique, as orientações concluídas e em andamento na USP e fora dela;
g) Demonstrar a situação funcional e o vínculo institucional do interessado (caso o interessado não comprove vínculo institucional estável o período de permanência na instituição da USP deverá ser de pelo menos 75% do prazo máximo para o depósito da dissertação ou tese).

Prof. Dr. Alessandra Cristina Marcolin
Training:

She holds a degree in Medicine from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School – University of São Paulo (1996), a master’s degree in Tocogynecology from the University of São Paulo (2001), and a doctorate in Tocogynecology from the University of São Paulo (2008). She held a sandwich PhD at the Harris Birthright Research Centre (Kings College Hospital, London, England, 2006-2007). She is currently a Professor in the Obstetrics sector of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGO) of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School – University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). She is the coordinator of the Obstetric Center of the General Hospital of FMRP-USP and the Fetal Medicine Sector of the GOD of FMRP-USP. She is also the coordinator of two disciplines taught by the GOD to the students of the medical course: RCG 0442 (In-Service Training in Gynecology and Obstetrics, 4th year of Medicine) and RCG 0604 (Internship in Women’s Health II, 6th year of Medicine). She is a member of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis and a certified member in Fetal Medicine by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (London, England). She is certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, a course of which she is an instructor. She works on emergencies/urgencies in obstetrics, high-risk pregnancy, ultrasound, and fetal medicine.

Prof. Dr. Ana Carolina Japur de Sá Rosa e Silva
Training:
She holds a degree in Medicine from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1997), a master’s degree in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the Graduate Program of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (2002), and a PhD from the same program in 2004. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Valencian Institute of Infertility in Valencia – Spain in 2005 and, subsequently, a new postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences of Yale University in 2017-2018, both in Human Reproduction. She is currently an associate professor at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School -USP – Human Reproduction Sector. She is a referee for the journals Fertility and Sterility, International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, Reprodução & Climatério, Revista Femina e RBGO- Revista Brasileira de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia. She has experience in Human Reproduction, Endocrine Gynecology, and Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, working in all of these fields. She performs research in fertility preservation, cryobiology, and in vitro maturation of oocytes and ovarian follicles isolated from ovarian tissue. She is currently the Vice-President of the National Specialized Committee (CNE) of Endocrine Gynecology of FEBRASGO and she is a member of the National Committee of TEGO – CNTEGO/FEBRASGO. She is a specialist in assisted reproduction by FEBRASGO (2016).

She has a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1999) and a medical residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics with Subspecialization in Human Reproduction from the General Hospital of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP) – USP (2003). She holds a master’s degree (2004) and a doctorate (2006) in Tocogynecology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School-USP. She is a professor at the FMRP-USP (2014). Postdoctoral fellow in contraception at the Population Council, New York (2017). She is currently an associate professor at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at FMRP-USP. The main line of research is in contraception. In addition, she is an ad-hoc consultant for the journals Contraception, European Journal of Reproductive Health and Contraception, BMJ, Thrombosis and Haemostasis, Disease Markers, Revista Brasileira de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia, Reproductive Science, Human Reproduction, and Endocrinology and Gynecology. Training:

He holds a degree in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1995), a master’s degree and a doctorate in Medical Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2002 and 2007). He completed a PhD internship by Capes at the Fox Chase Cancer Center, Breast Cancer Research Laboratory (Philadelphia, PA, USA) in Molecular Biology in 2006. He was a Visiting Researcher at the Cancer Research UK, University of Cambridge (2015-2016). He is currently a Professor at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo. He is also an active member of the American Association for Cancer Research. He is a Specialist in Clinical Oncology and Mastology. He works mainly on breast cancer and the molecular biology of cancer, particularly in the analysis of large-scale molecular and genomic data including microarray analysis and RNA and DNA sequencing.

He was born in Santa Rosa de Viterbo-SP. He graduated in Medicine from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP) in 1989. Former medical doctor of the Brazilian Army (2nd TEN R/2 doctor) (1990-1991). He studied medical residency in General Surgery at the General Hospital of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (1991-1993), and in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the General Hospital of FMRP-USP (1993-1996). He holds a master’s degree (1997) and a PhD degree (1999) in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of São Paulo. He held a postdoctoral fellowship at Brigham and Womens Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston (2004-2005) and was a visiting researcher at the Centre for Cancer Genetic Epidemiology at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom (2013-2015). He is an associate professor (Level III) of FMRP-USP. He was the president of the Graduate Committee of FMRP-USP (2008-2012). He was the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Gynecology and Obstetrics of FMRP-USP (2017 – 2019), Deputy Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of FMRP-USP (2017-2019) and Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of FMRP – USP (2019-current). He develops teaching, research, and extension in Gynecology and Obstetrics with emphasis on gynecologic oncology, mastology, minimally invasive surgery and medical education.

Training:

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Federal University of Uberlândia in 1978 and completed the medical residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the General Hospital of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP) in 1982. His academic career was built in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of FMRP-USP, completing the Master’s degree in 1983, the doctorate in 1988, and the “Livre-Docência” in 1993. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, where he develops his teaching (undergraduate and graduate), extracurricular, and research activities. Much of his research is developed in partnership with researchers from the various units of USP and researchers from other Brazilian universities and abroad. The research is developed according to the goals of four main lines of research: 1) vertical transmission of bacterial, viral, and parasitic infections; 2) pharmacokinetics, metabolism, placental transfer, and drug effects during pregnancy; 3) biomolecular aspects of human papillomavirus infection; and, 4) morphological and functional patterns of fetal development and maternal adaptations to pregnancy.

Doctor of Sciences (emphasis on Genetics) from the Department of Genetics of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School– University of São Paulo (2008). Post-doctorate in Reproductive Biology from the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of FMRP-USP (FAPESP scholarship 2008-2011, INCT/CAPES scholarship 2011-2013). She is a Collaborating researcher at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Department of Genetics and Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine at Queens University since 2010 in Endometriosis genome research. Young researcher FAPESP (process 2013/22431-3) associated with the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics (2014-2017). She is currently a PhD Professor MS-3 at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of FMRP – USP (2018-current) CAPES 6 program. Collaborating research professor of INCT/Hormona (Institute of Science and Technology in Hormones and Women’s Health) coordinated by Poli Mara Spritzer, Rui A Ferriani, Fernando Marcos dos Reis, and Luis Bahamondes). He holds a degree in Medicine from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (1996), Medical Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the General Hospital of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, Master’s, doctorate, and “Livre-docência” in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo. He is currently an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo with experience in gynecologic surgery.
