Scholarships in the country
- Scientific Initiation
The Office of the Dean of Research promotes the institutional program of scholarships for Scientific Initiation (Pibic) to stimulate the development of research by directing undergraduate students to scientific discovery and experience with the procedures and methodologies adopted in science. The scholarships are granted for 12 months, in the amount of R$400,00. To check the criteria for scholarships (click here)). Scholarships for scientific initiation can also be obtained through applications made directly to FAPESP.
- Master and Doctorate
The Graduate Program in Gynecology and Obstetrics has social demand scholarships (institutional quota) for Master’s and Doctoral courses from the Capes and CNPq agencies, in addition to quotas distributed by the Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies of USP. The program has 13 master and 19 Doctoral Scholarships from Capes and 6 master and 3 doctoral scholarships from CNPq. The monthly amount of the scholarship is R$1,500 for a master’s degree and R$ 2,200 for a doctorate with a maximum term of 24 months and 48 months, respectively. In addition to these scholarships offered by the program, it is possible for students to obtain Master’s and Doctoral Scholarships through applications made directly to FAPESP.
- Postdoctoral
The Graduate Program in Gynecology and Obstetrics through the National Postdoctoral Program of CAPES currently has two institutional quotas for the Postdoctoral Program, which grants annual funding of R$12,000.00 per student and R$4,100 per month to the student of the program. Postdoctoral fellowships can also be obtained through applications made directly to FAPESP.
Scholarships abroad
Capes grants scholarships abroad through the “Sandwich” Doctoral Program Abroad-PDSE which aims to promote the development of part of the studies in institutions abroad.
